Come as you are
Cosplay is welcome but never required. Plenty of folks come in a T-shirt and have just as good a time.
About
Two days of anime, gaming, and Japanese pop culture in the heart of Tuscaloosa.
Druid City Anime Festival returns to Tuscaloosa for its second year — two days of cosplay, gaming, K-Pop, artist alley, and everything we love about anime and Japanese pop culture. It’s a hometown show: local artists, local players, local cosplayers, all under one roof at One Up TCG.
Meet our winged mascot! He’s going to need a makeover before year three, so be sure to write down your theme ideas at the con and leave them at the front desk for a chance to be voted for on social media in the week following the con!
See the attractionsFirst time at the fest? Here’s the shape of the weekend.

Artist alley and vendors are the heart of the show. Some sellers are card-only, some prefer cash.
Lost, confused, or looking for a table? Festival staff are on the floor both days — just flag one down.
Saturday closes with a 21+ after-party from 8:00 PM to midnight. Valid ID required at the door.
Two days, one weekend, and a whole lot of anime. We’d love to see you there.
